These models are designed to drop onto an existing pit. There is also Cooktop version with integrated insulated refractory fire pit & many types of stands available so it can be fully self contained & mobile on castors.

The manual wheel lifting grill offers great advantages for regulation of cooking heat & control of flaring above the charcoal. The extra brick protection in the fire box reduces heat for the operator & concentrates it where its needed to burn the wood pieces so that the charcoal falls down & can move it across to the cooking areas.
